Who holds your information
Macrobian Health LLC operates this website. The coach you book is an independent business and is the party that collects and holds your intake and session information — they are the data controller for your coaching record, not us. This policy covers the website; your coach is responsible for their own handling of what you tell them, and you can ask them how they store it.
What is collected
- Booking information — name, email, time zone, and your answers on the booking form. Collected through your coach’s scheduling account.
- Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe and paid directly to your coach. Neither Macrobian Health LLC nor your coach sees or stores your card number.
- Health intake information — what you choose to tell your coach on the intake form and in sessions: diet, activity, sleep, stress, hydration, medications and supplements. The intake form on this site sends your answers directly to your coach’s own form service; this website does not store them.
- Anything you send us directly — an email to the platform address, or a signup on a form on this site.
How it is used
Only to deliver coaching: to prepare for your session, write your plan, and follow up. Your information is not sold, rented, or traded, and it is not shared with any third party for marketing.
Who else touches it
Service providers that make a practice run — scheduling, payments, intake forms, email, video calls, and file storage. Each processes your information only to provide their service. Information is otherwise disclosed only with your consent or where the law requires it.
A note on health information
Wellness coaching practices are generally not HIPAA covered entities, so your intake information does not carry HIPAA protection. It is still treated as confidential, kept access-controlled, and shared with no one without your say-so. Share only what you are comfortable sharing.
Marketing email and text
You will receive messages relating to sessions you booked. Anything beyond that — newsletters, event announcements — requires you to opt in, and every one carries an unsubscribe link. Text messages are sent only where you have separately consented, and replying STOP ends them. Opting out of one channel opts you out of both.
Retention and your choices
Client records are kept while you are an active client and for a reasonable period afterward, then deleted. You can ask at any time to see what is held about you, correct it, or have it deleted — email your coach directly, or matt@macrobianhealth.com for anything the platform holds. Requests are handled within 30 days.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies of its own. The embedded booking calendar sets cookies necessary for it to function. If analytics are added later, this page will say so.
Children
Services are for adults 18 and older. Information is not knowingly collected from children.
